You use the brand recognition and then create one out of thin air.

Thats exactly what i'm worried about... lol.

The only good video game to film adaptation i've seen was Silent Hill and only because it stuck quite close to the source material.
Proud critic of Season 2 since 1994. :P

Heh, well he appeared on ER for quite a while.
Dave Coulier, now there's someone who practically went nowhere after the show. Small bits of voiceover here and there to warrant his goofyass Bullwinkle impression doesn't exactly mean much compared to the sixty something ER episodes John did.

    Why John Stamos?

The better question is, "Why not John Stamos?"
Look at him, and try to tell me you can't see the L-shaped block.

Oh, and Tone Loc will play the long straight block.

 Okay, let me try to figure this out.

Lego in live-action? Umm... wouldn't that just mean either stop-motion Legos or a film about a kid who plays with Legos?
'cause if it's the latter, then won't that mean that the film is basically gonna be a home movie?

Video game movies are a bad idea because they never work, the fact the Owe Boll keeps making them should be proof of that

Actually, the fact that Uwe Boll's Video Game Movies suck is proof that Uwe Boll is a **** filmmaker far more than it is that Video Game Movies can't possibly work. Indeed, one need only look at, say, the animated Street Fighter films to see that isn't so; they're far from Classics, but they're also greatly entertaining and capture the spirit of the Games they're based on brilliantly.
